Tracey Greaves

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker / Counsellor / Psychotherapist

Tracey has over 20 years’ experience providing therapeutic counselling services. She has a strong interest in working with trauma related issues, is quick to recognise how past traumatic experiences impact on our present-day emotional states, our sense of selves, and on our interpersonal and intimate relationships.

Tracey has worked extensively with adults who have experienced childhood trauma and with people who have experienced traumatic experiences in their adult lives.

She is a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) practitioner and has trained in somatic based therapies. Her other training includes Mindfulness and Self-Compassion practices and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

Sian Duncan

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker / Counsellor / Psychotherapist / Mindfulness Teacher

Over the past thirty years Sian feels privileged to have worked as a Psychotherapist and Family Therapist alongside many members of the community facing a range of mental health challenges including Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, PTSD and related issues. Sian has significant experience working with both young people and adults. She also provides services on behalf of Open Arms Veterans & Families Counselling Service.

Sian assists clients to explore their personal experience and learn practical skills for tapping into and developing inner resources for personal healing and growth.  She is particularly interested in the fields of attachment, neuroscience, mindfulness, compassion and trauma. Sian approaches her work from a wholistic perspective and is experienced in various Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy approaches as well as Somatic/Body based models.  She draws much of her inspiration from Buddhist Psychology from which the secular Mindfulness based approaches have originated.

Sian holds clients in a space of compassion, respect, openness and acceptance where one is deeply heard.

Sian has a Post Graduate degree in Mindfulness Studies and extensive experience in teaching Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy; Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Self Compassion group programs.  She has also trained in the Mindfulness based Breathworks program useful for assisting those suffering chronic pain. Mindfulness and Compassion skills training can be very effective in helping people suffering a range of mental and physical health problems to change habitual patterns of reactivity and learn ways of relating and responding more wisely and kindly to the inevitable challenges of life.  Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy is an empirically validated approach to the prevention and management of Depression.

As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Sian receives Mental Health Care Plan referrals from GPs. Sian is currently consulting on Thursdays and Fridays at Tea Tree Wellness.

Greg Gardner

Clinical Psychologist

Greg initially obtained his general registration in psychology 2008 and for the past 14 years has worked across a variety of public and private settings. This has allowed him to gain a wide range of experience in both adult and pediatric presentations.

Greg primarily uses a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach in counselling but also provides Schema Therapy and Mindfulness Based Interventions depending on presenting concerns and client fit. He is an experienced group program facilitator and presenter as well as a clinical supervisor to Masters level and Generalist Psychologists seeking endorsement in Clinical Psychology.

Greg maintains a significant interest in the sleep field and is a provider of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i) as well as Transdiagnostic Intervention for Sleep and Circadian Dysfunction (TranS-C). These evidence-based interventions treat a variety of sleep concerns including Insomnia and various circadian rhythm disorders. Greg initially received his training in the sleep field under Professor Michael Gradisar and worked at the Flinders University Child and Adolescent Sleep Clinic. He contributed to an extensively cited intervention trial of Bright Light Therapy, a treatment for Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder and is currently consulting on an intervention trail of TranS-C in a first responders’ population.

Greg’s other area of expertise is in the Veterans field where he has worked extensively over the last 8 years. He is experienced in treating military (and civilian) trauma presentations and is a provider of Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), both of which are first line interventions for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Greg is well versed in assisting Veterans and their families with common concerns including the discharge process, work stressors and the stigma associated with mental health concerns. He maintains strong links in the Veteran community in Adelaide and is a provider of a range of group programs for Veterans.

Georgie Davidson

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher

Georgie is a musculoskeletal and pain titled physiotherapist, yoga and mindfulness teacher who has provided guidance to people over 3 decades, crossing boundaries between western and eastern approaches to health.  She works collaboratively with the other highly skilled practitioners at Tea Tree Wellness to provide an integrated body-mind approach.

Georgie brings her unique skillset, extensive experience and kind, curious presence to help people looking for lasting change. Georgie will help you make sense of your pain, injury, illness or stress and uncover your unique pathway towards health and healing. Treatment may include a few specialised one on one sessions including hands on, mindful movement and mindfulness training. Georgie teaches group programs as part of treatment, including the internationally recognised courses MBSR Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Positive Neuroplasticity, her unique mindful movement (gentle yoga) classes and BODYMAP an approach to prevent and treat persistent pain.

When not at Tea Tree Wellness Georgie provides training for health professionals to build skills for working with people with complex conditions.

She values the importance of selfcare and loves time in nature, gardening, walking and kayaking, creating with paint and hanging out with her husband, young adult daughters and the family animals.

Clare Logan 

Clinical Psychologist

Clare has over 15 years’ experience as a Clinical Psychologist. Using an engaging and non-judgemental approach, she uses tailored, evidence-based interventions to help clients overcome challenges and make positive changes. Clare draws from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and the Gottman Method of relationship therapy to support individuals, couples and groups to overcome problems such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and stress.

Working with Defence members, veterans and their families, for a number of years has put Clare in good stead to appreciate the unique challenges faced and offer appropriate support. She has extensive experience working with people with disabilities, including individuals with learning disorders, intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorders. Clare also has experience working with refugees in Nepal to improve their mental health.

In addition to clinical and leadership roles in government, private and not-for-profit environments, Clare also has experience delivering high quality professional development for practitioners from a range of backgrounds, and has provided clinical supervision to Clinical Registrars, Psychology Masters students, and other professional staff in a variety of settings.

Tim James

Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher and Coach

Tim is an intuitive and compassionate teacher and coach of meditation and mindfulness, specialising in supporting individuals and groups to connect with their inner calm and wisdom so they can bring this into their everyday life.

Tim is a Diploma qualified teacher of meditation with the Australian Centre for Meditation and Mindfulness (ACMM) and has written and coaches the ‘Corporate Meditation and Mindfulness’ elective and the ‘Deepening through Meditative Inquiry’ elective with ACMM. Tim also coaches student meditation teachers with ACMM and runs weekly community groups and corporate groups.

During his one-on-one meditation coaching sessions, he loves assisting people to connect with meditation in a way that works for them. His clients have often tried different approaches and techniques in the past that have not resonated. Tim listens from presence and supports his clients with a tailored meditation.

In his weekly group meditation sessions, Tim focuses on mindfulness and self-inquiry, inviting participants to dive into and explore their present moment experience and ‘who they are’. Tim holds a supportive compassionate space for meditation. 

He is a member of the Meditation Association of Australia (MA) and has been a presenter at several MA forums supporting meditation teachers.
