Tea Tree Wellness are developing a range of unique workshop offerings available to the public and community and corporate groups. In addition our practitioners workshop offerings are also shown here. Please Contact Us for further details. Current workshops include:

  • Weekly MEDITATION Wednesdays at 7:30pm – 8:45pm at Tea Tree Wellness. Meditation supports us to deeply rest, aware, open, present and still. It is a compassionate and nurturing practice and way of being. Meditation is supportive for relieving stress and anxiety and for clarifying direction and recognising your own internal wisdom and truth. The meditation guidance in this group is intuitive, with a leaning towards mindful, compassionate inquiry, exploring present moment experience and our essential nature. This weekly group is facilitated by Tim James. Beginners and experienced all welcome. Due to limited spaces, please contact Tim James on 0409 939 063 for bookings. Cost is $15.00 per session payable by cash or EFTPOS on the evening. We look forward to welcoming you to the group.

 

  • YOGA for pain and stress  Tuesdays. Please contact Georgie Davidson 0439 505 069 to express your interest and for more information.

 

  • MBSR Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course in-person from 13 February 2023 each Monday @ 4.00pm – 6.30pm  for 8 weekly sessions of 2.5 hours and a full day of mindfulness on Saturday 18 March. This day is at the beautiful Sophia Centre, Cumberland Park. MBSR remains the most evidence based course for creating positive change for physical and mental health. The MBSR course will meet you wherever you are in your life and provide you with a supportive and nourishing group environment to explore bringing mindfulness into your life. This MBSR course is offered by Georgie Davidson. Georgie has been teaching the internationally renowned, evidence-based Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course since 2010. She is one of Adelaide’s most experienced teachers and the only MTIA (Mindfulness Teachers Institute of Australia) accredited MBSR teacher in South Australia.   • BODYMAP mindfulness for pain Please contact Georgie Davidson for information on the next course. This 6-week course, with 6 sessions of 1.5 hours, blends mindful movement, mindfulness and pain theory. Participants are invited to connect to their body in a way that regulates the stress and pain system, increases awareness of pleasant experiences and creates more space for wise responding in difficult moments. It is a valuable adjunct to treatment for people with chronic health issues and those recovering from pain and injury. This BODYMAP course is offered by Georgie Davidson.   • BEE Mindful A mindfulness workshop in nature where you have the opportunity of suiting up and tending to beehives with our trained keeper.  This nature-based workshop supports you to build confidence, understand and integrate mindfulness and manage anxiety. It’s natural to be tentative and our instructors work with you to understand the process and tasks, be present and attentive to the bees and hive and build confidence. The workshop includes mindfulness practices in nature and participants can choose whether to tend the bees or continue to deepen their mindfulness practice with a mindful walk on the grounds.
  • Equine Therapy A mindfulness workshop combining activities with horses to promote mental and physical wellness. Our workshops will be in the Adelaide Hills and integrate nature, horses and mindfulness into a half day full of connection and healing.
